Festivals

We have a large community of artists in our midst: painters, potters, sculptors, writers and musicians — all evident at our annual festivals. Plan your visit to take in one of our many fabulous festivals so you can indulge the artist in you.

Sporting Events

Our natural environment is the perfect backdrop for sporting activities. Aside from many charitable marathon runs that we host, there are a couple major events that may interest you.

Advertise With Us

Our viewers are a mix of local residents and visitors from around the world. Consider advertising on our website for your business. We can customize a size and contract term just for you! Use the “Drop Us A Line” form (scroll down) for inquiries.

Plus, if you are a local small business, we can offer you a mini-website right here for a very reasonable price. We call it a Pocket Site. It’s a great opportunity for you to increase your on-line presence with an established, reputable site. (that’s us!)

Part of the allure of Powell River comes from our seclusion. But don’t worry, we are connected!
There are no roads that lead you here — ferries and planes are the means to get to us.
And both offer spectacular scenery along the way.
