This year the annual Powell River Logger Sports weekend event is Saturday July 13th and Sunday July 14th. Competitors come from around the world to claim national and international championships. It’s a fabulous spectator sport, so take the family down to Willingdon Beach and catch some of the action! Admission to the grounds is $5. per person or $10. family rate, kids under 13 years old $3.
The outdoor Farmer’s Market is now open for the season. Check it out any weekend all summer long on Saturdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm and on Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Browse local vendors featuring fresh produce, baked goods and crafts while listening to live music on the Market Stage. Miniature Train Rides are also available on Sundays. Fun for the entire family! 4365 McLeod Road.
