Craft Fair Season

Yes, in Powell River we have a Craft Fair Season and it has begun!  The Powell River’s Own Craft Fair is this weekend at the Complex, Friday November 1st, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and on Saturday November 2nd, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The Anglican Church in Townsite hosts their annual Tea & Christmas Bazaar on Saturday November 2nd, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. And there’s more to come!

Tick Tock Clock

Just to mess everybody up, the clocks fall back one hour after midnight on Saturday November 2nd. Keep this in mind if you have an appointment on Sunday. Oh, and drive with extra care. Everyone is confused for a couple days.


Opera in Powell River

Not just any opera either, but broadcast live from the MET. Start your day off with Turandot on Saturday November 9th, 10:00am at the Max Cameron Theatre. Tickets for Adults are $27. and Seniors/Students are $24.




Powell River Kings Hockey

Our Junior A Hockey Club has started their 2019-2020 Season. The Kings are a big part of our community, and besides, it’s good hockey. Come out and cheer them on at the Hap Parker Arena in the Complex – the ultra Canadian family friendly entertainment. Tickets are $15. Adults, $10. Youth (13-18) and $5. Children (6-12), available at the door or online through the Kings website.

The Kings are on the road until Friday November 8th when they are back home for a couple games. Stay tuned.
