Film Festival
Although we may not have the glamour of New York City, the glitz of LA, or even the celebrity sightings of Toronto, Powell River does have a Film Festival. The Powell River Film Festival takes place in February with a varied selection of dramas and documentaries as well as a Film Camp for up-and-coming film makers. The film festival takes place at our historic movie theatre, The Patricia. Unfortunately, Covid-19 really played havoc with the movie and theatre business over the past 2 years BUT the film festival is back on for February 2022.
